Swanton Abbott is made up of several parish councillors, who have been democratically elected onto the council to make policy decisions about the way the village is run and about how a proportion of your council tax (known as our precept) is spent.

Due to COVID future PC meetings are now been held via ZOOM until further notice. Please contact the Parish Council for details on how to join online.

Next meeting date: The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Tues 18th May @ 6:30 - 7:30pm. All clubs and organisations are welcome to give a brief presentation of their past activities and plans for the future. The Annual Parish Council Meeting will start at 7:30pm and end at 9:30pm. The meeting will begin with a 10 min session that is open to the public. Due to the later than normal ending time there will not be a public session at the end of the meeting.
